Terms & Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before signing up or making a transaction. OPRINT SDN. BHD. (hereafter referred to as “OPRINT”) reserves the right to change any or all terms and conditions, with or without prior notice to members (hereafter referred to as “OPRINT MEMBER”). As an OPRINT MEMBER, it is your responsibility to know and periodically update yourself on these terms and conditions so as to fully understand your rights and privileges as a member of OPRINT.

1. MEMBERSHIP

1.1 Application for OPRINT MEMBERSHIP is open to all, aged 18 years and above. Approval of membership is subject to the discretion of the management of OPRINT.

1.2 The management of OPRINT has the right to decline membership to any individual or to terminate a Member’s membership at its discretion without prejudice.

1.3 Employees of OPRINT are not eligible to become OPRINT MEMBERS nor are they eligible to participate in any OPRINT program(s).

1.4 Individuals who wish to join OPRINT as a Member must first complete the online registration form made available on the OPRINT website (www.oprint.com.my). Each OPRINT MEMBER is entitled to a user account on OPRINT ePrinting Solution.

1.5 New registrations will be given an official Member ID to facilitate their order transactions with OPRINT. This Member ID is strictly non-transferable.


2. ORDERING

2.1 Printing of OPRINT products will be undertaken by OPRINT or any of its authorized appointed vendor(s). OPRINT MEMBERS are restricted from submitting any order for an OPRINT product to another printer/lithographer. If an OPRINT MEMBER does not comply with this condition, the management reserves the right to terminate his or her account and membership as well as demand the return of all materials and information pertaining to OPRINT.

2.2 OPRINT MEMBERS are solely responsible for their own customers including but not limited to any transactions such as payment collection.

2.3 OPRINT reserves the right to reject any order or orders that do not comply with the standard product specifications for output set by OPRINT as stated on the OPRINT website.

2.4 Once an OPRINT MEMBER submits an order to OPRINT, it is considered as a purchase. Once an order has reached the process stage, it cannot be cancelled or changed.

2.5 If OPRINT MEMBER requests to cancel an order which has not reached the process stage, the deducted printing fee will be automatically credited back into that OPRINT MEMBER’s account.


2.6 OPRINT can and will take legal action against any OPRINT MEMBER whom OPRINT suspects of making fraudulent deposits with OPRINT. OPRINT shall also terminate that member’s membership and bar him/her from further orders, not limited to the use of OPRINT ePrinting Solution.

3. RELOADING CASH ADVANCE

3.1 As OPRINT uses a prepaid system, orders will be debited from OPRINT MEMBER’s cash advance. Cash Advance for membership registration: OPRINT MEMBERS must fax or email a copy of the bank deposit slip or funds transfer printout with the confirmation printout to OPRINT when paying any registration fee(s) and/or reloading cash advance.

3.2 Cash Advance Reload methods:

(i) CASH BANK-IN to OPRINT SDN. BHD. and deposited into OPRINT bank account at Maybank: 5128 8406 4029.


(ii) CHEQUE made payable to OPRINT SDN. BHD. and deposited into OPRINT bank account at Maybank: 5128 8406 4029.


(iii) INTERBANK FUNDS TRANSFER to Maybank: 5128 8406 4029.


(iv) CREDIT CARD: VISA or Mastercard through our appointed money transfer gateway MOBILE88.COM SDN. BHD


3.3 Activation of an OPRINT MEMBER Account is subject to OPRINT management approval and successful clearance of cheque or cash deposit or funds transfer verification by the bank; or approval from MOBILE88.COM SDN. BHD

 for credit card and e-wallet payments.

3.4 There is a minimum cash advance amount that is equivalent to the sales order, for bank deposit (cash/cheque), online interbank funds transfer, e-wallet and credit card. For reloading cash advance, OPRINT MEMBERS are required to whatsapp (012-381 2498) or send via email (sales@oprint.com.my) the proof of reloading (bank-in receipt/statement) to OPRINT along with the Member ID.

3.5. OPRINT does not provide any printed official receipt or invoice for OPRINT MEMBER’s . If OPRINT MEMBER requires any invoice or official receipt, kindly inform our customer service by calling to 03-8061 1887 / 03-8060 v2498 or whatsapp to 012-381 2498 or send via email (sales@oprint.com.my).
 

4. PRICING / DELIVERY

4.1 All product prices (except Self-inking Stamps & Notepad and unless stated otherwise) are based on full color printing (full combination of CMYK).

4.2 There is no surcharge for normal delivery (except Sabah, Sarawak and overseas).

4.3 Duplicate prints will be charged at the same price.

4.4 Services, products and pricing are subject to change.

4.5 All goods are delivered to OPRINT MEMBERS by OPRINT’s official appointed courier service company.

4.6 OPRINT will not liaise with any customer on any OPRINT MEMBER’s behalf.

4.7 OPRINT will only consider requests for rushed deliveries through its optional Rush Order service.

4.8 OPRINT will only provide free delivery to Oprint’s Members or Oprint’s members’ customer,(i.e. West Malaysia members enjoy free delivery in West Malaysia only).



4.10 Goods delivered to OPRINT MEMBERS are packed according to OPRINT’s standard packing. Once goods have left OPRINT premises, the goods are no longer the responsibility of OPRINT. If there are any discrepancies in the print quality or quantity of goods, OPRINT MEMBERS are advised to call and email the OPRINT Customer Service to lodge a complaint as soon as possible, within 7 days from the invoice stated date.

5. ARTWORK FILE PREPARATION / TRANSFER

5.1 All artworks are recommended to be saved into individual files and according to order.

5.2 All artworks must be sent to OPRINT through the Internet or by courier service. Please download artwork specifications from OPRINT ePrinting Solution(Template) in order to learn how to prepare file(s) for order.

5.3 Due to the different colour displays on various monitors, printed color of end product may differ from what appears on screen. Therefore OPRINT will not be responsible for color discrepancies in the end product as a result of OPRINT MEMBER’s reliance on the said color displays instead of OPRINT’s CMYK COLOR CHART to set his/her colors for output.

5.4 OPRINT does not guarantee exact color match of OPRINT MEMBER artwork or reprints (10% tolerance).

5.5 OPRINT does not guarantee the spot uv quality on the artwork which is less than 1pt and also on the edge of the artwork.

5.6 To avoid delays or inconveniences, OPRINT MEMBERS are advised to check their artworks comply with all OPRINT standard specifications, setting and format.

5.7 In the event OPRINT detects that OPRINT MEMBER’s artwork does not comply with OPRINT artwork specifications, OPRINT will inform that OPRINT MEMBER of the problem by phone and via email and then cancel the order. OPRINT MEMBER requires to amend their artwork and re-order through OPRINT ePrinting Solution. Delivery date of order will depend on their new order.

5.8 If OPRINT MEMBER insists on proceeding to print without making recommended corrections highlighted. OPRINT MEMBER does so at his/her risk. OPRINT cannot be held responsible for outcome of printout.

5.9 If OPRINT MEMBER makes an error (selecting wrong quantity, material, or etc.) while placing his/her order, the OPRINT MEMBER must call to inform OPRINT Customer Service immediately. OPRINT will not be responsible for any consequences arising from that OPRINT MEMBER’s failure.

5.10 OPRINT cannot be held liable for any consequences in the event an artwork error goes undetected.

5.11 No changes can be made to the artwork once the order in the process stages.

5.12 OPRINT MEMBERS are required to resend artwork for every repeat order.

5.13 OPRINT is not responsible for OPRINT MEMBER’s copyright infringement of artwork content.

5.14 OPRINT will not print jobs that contain offensive literature or images.

6. GENERAL EXPECTATION ON PRINTING OUTCOME

6.1 Color reproduction or accuracy is generally subject to the limitations of gang run printing method. Therefore, the accuracy of color reproduction is NOT guaranteed as stipulated in our Color Disclaimer (clause #7).

6.2 OPRINT cannot be held liable for color variations between jobs printed in different batches at different ordering periods, and object missing due to overprint setting.

6.3 Tolerance of the cutting edge is +- 2 mm for namecard; +- 5mm for poster.

6.4 Printed surface dotted with dirt shall not be more than 1 dot per 5cm2 and the dot shall not be bigger than 0.5mm.

6.5 While OPRINT will take every caution when handling pressure sensitive materials like carbonless copy paper (NCR), we cannot guarantee that they will be completely free of markings after print.

7. COLOR DISCLAIMER

In order to provide a cheaper end cost to OPRINT MEMBER and a quicker turnaround of the printed matter, OPRINT prints CMYK printing work together and marginal variations are to be expected from one print run to another.

As such, while OPRINT takes great effort to match colors as accurately as possible, OPRINT cannot be held liable for these marginal color variations or inaccuracies in the printed matter which may be more evident in reprints. A 100% exact color match is not possible (10% Color Tolerance).

8. PRODUCT REPRINT

If OPRINT MEMBERS are not satisfied with any product, please call and email OPRINT Customer Service within 7 days of invoice stated date.

Please include Member ID, picture and reason for dissatisfaction. If OPRINT MEMBERS have not received their order within the specified delivery time, please contact OPRINT Customer Service not later than 3 working days from the date of the specified delivery time. OPRINT Customer Service department will review OPRINT MEMBER complaint and work with OPRINT MEMBER to meet OPRINT MEMBER expectations.

PLEASE NOTE: OPRINT will only reprint the print job that fails to meet the conditions under the General Expectation on Printing Outcome (clause #6). However, OPRINT is not responsible for typing, image, or design errors introduced by OPRINT MEMBER in the artwork/document creation process. In an effort to keep costs down and pass those savings along to OPRINT MEMBER, OPRINT does not review artwork/documents for content or spelling. In no way shall either OPRINT or its subsidiaries, officers, directors, shareholders or employees be liable for any special incidents, indirect or consequential damages, mistakes or rejects of any kind whether or not the party has been advised of the possibility of such damages or rejects arising out of or related to an OPRINT MEMBER’s action(s). The terms and conditions constitute all terms and agreements relating to OPRINT MEMBERS participating in the OPRINT MEMBER Program.

9. OPRINT’S INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

The names, text, images, color bar and logos identifying OPRINT or OPRINT SDN. BHD. and their products and services are subject to copyright, design rights and trademarks of the OPRINT SDN. BHD. Nothing contained in these terms shall be construed as conferring by implication, estoppel or otherwise any licence or right to use any trademark, patent, text, design right or copyright of OPRINT or OPRINT SDN. BHD. Unless stated in written consent, a OPRINT MEMBER or party has no right to produce, copy, disseminate the names, text, images and logos identifying OPRINT or OPRINT SDN. BHD. and their products and services.

If OPRINT suspects a OPRINT MEMBER has violated this condition, the management reserves the right to terminate that OPRINT MEMBER’s account and their membership as well as demand the return of all materials and information pertaining to OPRINT. OPRINT also reserves the right to take legal action against any OPRINT MEMBER who misuses any trademark, patent, design right or copyright of OPRINT or OPRINT SDN. BHD.

10. CONTRIBUTIONS TO OPRINT

While OPRINT MEMBERS submit any file to the OPRINT (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio) OPRINT MEMBERS agree, by submitting their file, to grant OPRINT A perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, play, make available to the public, and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to their contribution worldwide and/or to incorporate their contribution in other works in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in their contribution, and in accordance with privacy restrictions set out in the OPRINT’s Privacy Policy. If a OPRINT MEMBER does not want to grant to OPRINT the rights set out above, that OPRINT MEMBER is prohibited from submitting his/her file to the OPRINT.

11. PRIVACY POLICY

11.1 OPRINT collects information to process OPRINT MEMBER’s order, guide and enhance OPRINT MEMBER online experience and to supply OPRINT MEMBER with information in which OPRINT MEMBER have expressed an interest.

11.2 At any time OPRINT MEMBER can modify account details and email address by calling to OPRINT Customer Service Department.

11.3 When OPRINT MEMBER log in, OPRINT collect Member ID, password, and IP Address. This provides OPRINT with default details for OPRINT MEMBER order processing and sets up security – so viewing of OPRINT MEMBER account details, designs and order records is password protected.

11.4 To help OPRINT MEMBER choose the right product and design to suit OPRINT MEMBER purpose/business OPRINT ask OPRINT MEMBER to make selections and choices – Only the design details are collected if OPRINT MEMBER chooses to save or order.

11.5 When OPRINT MEMBER order, OPRINT capture order details, files and credit card details (if applicable) to process and fulfill OPRINT MEMBER order. Invoicing address and shipping address are retained when OPRINT MEMBER register as a member so OPRINT MEMBER do not have to enter them again. Order details are retained so OPRINT MEMBER can view the order records.

11.6 When OPRINT MEMBER enter credit card details OPRINT MEMBER is in communication over a secure link with a direct merchant system operated by appointed merchant (MOBILE88.COM SDN. BHD). They retain details of the credit card transaction and not OPRINT. OPRINT MEMBER must enter the details for each purchase for security reasons.

11.7 To assist OPRINT MEMBER with promotions and marketing, and tailor OPRINT service to OPRINT MEMBER needs OPRINT will ask OPRINT MEMBER for feedback about OPRINT MEMBER business and any information OPRINT MEMBER may require. Supply of this information other then those that state otherwise is optional and not mandatory. All this data will be stored so OPRINT can effectively meet OPRINT MEMBER needs.

11.8 Security – Access to OPRINT MEMBER account data is password protected. Credit card details are processed by appointed merchant’s secure server.

11.9 Cookies – OPRINT use cookies to personalise OPRINT MEMBER interface with the OPRINT ePrinting Solution. They are small packets of data stored by OPRINT MEMBER browser on OPRINT MEMBER computer’s hard drive to identify OPRINT MEMBER to us. OPRINT MEMBER browser may have a feature to disable cookies or OPRINT MEMBER can delete them if OPRINT MEMBER wish and the interface will not be severely restricted.

11.10 OPRINT is interested in OPRINT MEMBER comments and will be pleased to answer any questions concerning OPRINT privacy policy.
